Marriage and Relationship Advice Made Easy
October 15, 2013
Any marriage and all marriages can be great: ones that are good, those that are on the rocks, and each one in between.
The trick is learning to pay attention to the small and simple things. Open the door for your wife. Give her your coat when she’s cold. Watch that action movie your husband has been dying to watch. Sit and talk with each other. Say “I love you.” It really doesn’t have to be difficult. Great marriages are built on the foundation of small and simple actions and gestures.
There is a lot out there about relationship advice, marriage advice, what to do and what not to do. There have been more books written on the subject than I can count. But the thing that ALL of the books, websites, and speakers have in common (whether they recognize it or not) is that they are teaching people to mind the small and simple things. No matter what you read or hear that’s the core of the message. It’s the small and simple things.
One of our favorite sites, and the one we highly recommend that you check out, is http://www.Uplifting-Love.com. It’s a blog, written by a man, that teaches readers how to take their marriages from wherever they are to the next level and beyond. Strategies, tips, insights, and humorous anecdotes are shared nearly everyday. Check it out. You’ll be glad that you did.
Don’t wait any longer. Make your marriage fantastic today!
How To Have A Happy Marriage
October 11, 2013
Marriage is one of the greatest institutions on earth and is the fundamental building block of our societies. The stronger marriages are the stronger our communities will be. We need to defend, promote, and uphold marriage as best we can.
I have been married for seven years now to the most wonderful and beautiful woman. We have four boys whom we love to death. We are happy.
Often we receive comments from friends and acquaintances about how happy we seem and they ask us why. We answer that we are completely in love with one another and that we are each other’s best friend. And it’s true, we really are best friends. There is no one I am closer to than my beautiful wife.
We see marriages all around us that are struggling and others that, while they are not necessarily struggling, are not as happy as they could be. We want to change this. We want to promote marriage and help others to enjoy the maximum amount of happiness and love possible.
What we have found small and simple things to be the key that unlocks felicity in marriage. Focus on the small and simple things like holding hands, saying “I love you”, and spending time together and you’ll see the happiness that you feel in your marriage grow by leaps and bounds.
